So this picture is of a British journalist who is a hostage of ISIS and he became part

It would not have happened to be a climate crisis, you know, under the washroom.

I'm walking down a street of tidied ruins. The debris and dust have actually been swept

from the pavement, but the shrapnel pits and scars remain. There's ruin buildings on

either side. There's very few people's few passes by and just a couple of shops and a couple

of storeholders. Yet this was once a thriving thoroughfare on Mosul's west side. It was

here in Iraq's second city that John Cantley next appeared for the film Inside Mosul.

Now here I am on the streets of Mosul. It just goes to show the stretch of the territory

of the Islamic State. Hold all the way from Kobani and there I'm in a background. All the

way here in Mosul and here I am on the streets. That was me then and this is me now and it

just shows how much territory the Islamic State are controlling.

And in trying to work out John's fate in this city, I travel to Mosul and pretty quickly

as I retrace John's footsteps down the Jaffi Street. I met Iraqis who had met John.
