and in it appeared John Cantley not as the victim of imminent execution but as the presenter

in a series of Islamic State films. Along with my colleague, Anthony Lloyd,

we'll try to get to the bottom of what happened to a British photo journalist who was first captured

in 2012. This video provoked two questions. How was it that John was surviving?

He's never been seen since. While every other western hostage was either released or beheaded

but 10 years on we still don't know what happened to John Cantley. I think he was a bit of a
