Despite the challenges Heather was facing, she remained strong and persevered, and would go on to do what she thought was her last big motorcycle adventure. Oh, A few years ago we had Heather Ellis on the show talking about her solo trip through Africa on a Yamaha TT 600.

flag the boat down for help, the fishermen just ignored them because in that part of Africa at that time

it was a lawless area known for pirates and criminals so the fishermen were wise to

ignore any locals standing there trying to get their attention.

There was nothing left for Heather to do but to strip off all her clothes and jump up and down to show that

she was white and not from the area, not a local.
