But what if you were just going about your day when your phone rings, you answer the call and on the other side of the line you

hear tragedy unfolding. Here are a few of these cases.

Laura McComb.

On May 23rd, 2015, Laura McComb, her husband, her children, and another family of five were vacationing together in

Wimberly, Texas, when a violent storm hit that area.

It caused the Blanco River to flood and the waters rose about 26 feet within an hour.

That water surrounding Macomb and her family and forced them onto the second level of the cabin.

At 11.11 p.m.

Laura McComb called 911 and told them that she and her family were on the second floor.

The dispatcher said that they would send help but did not give them a time frame.

And you said it's in your second floor?

It's coming up to the second floor.

I mean, it's so high up.

Okay.

And we have no exit out of it.

Okay, well just make sure you don't, don't go to the adding,

but you don't get stuck, okay?

But I will get them out there as soon as I can.

Okay, thank you.

Now that one.

Less than 18 minutes later, the cabin where the two families were staying broke clean away from the foundation.
