And today we're gonna be talking about ways to lash a little bit faster. Let's start with how long it took us at first.

I agree. I'm gonna take it away. I'm gonna take it away. When I first started, my first set took me eight hours.

Oh my God. Thanks. It was rough, but I appreciate it. My friend Alyssa, shout out. We love you. Appreciate you. Yeah, it was definitely rough. I was texting my boyfriend throughout the set.

Like, I'm only done with one eye because at the time I was doing one eye at a time. I was freaking out. I was like, how do I get out of the situation? I just wanted to jump off a bridge.

Yeah, it was pretty rough. I'm not gonna lie. I think those are all normal thoughts to have. Yeah.

The chaotic picture. Well, at least you did in eight hours. Was it like a consecutive eight or was it like a half and a half?

No, it was eight. I'll believe that. Okay. Yeah. See, at least you finished. Cause me, I had a little half and half situation.

And I think that's what's the most rough is having to tell her like, hey, girl.

I'm so sorry. It's been like four and a half hours and I'm frustrated and letting her just go home.

Did you really tell her that you were frustrated? Nope. Or you were just like, hey, I'm like, oh, I actually forgot I have something to do, but I'll have you come back.

I didn't know what to say, y'all. I was so nervous. It was one of my little sister's friends. So I mean, at least it was fine.

And she like glorified me. She was like, oh, it's fine. It's like cool. Like I'll come back. No problems.

But I definitely could not sleep that night thinking about the horrendous act that had just gone on.

Well, I mean, think about it. It's the first time I had been a receptionist right at the front desk and I had been fanning for a while.

And I had kind of learned placement of lashes. So I'd been doing that on like sponges and stuff. But this was the first time I was attempting a full set.

I hadn't even took in the live bay lash class yet. Like I was just confident in also. Yeah, I was just like confident because I was around it.

And because I had like Sierra and shout out to red and Heather helping me and showing me kind of like what I was doing.

And I thought, I got this. Yeah, no, I definitely didn't have that isolation. No joke.

No, I thought my fingers my hands the first time I went to isolate. I was like always. I was like, how the hell do people do this? How do they stop this?

Well, I think like also when you watch other lash artists, you're like, oh my god. They make it look so easy. Like they do.

They do. Girl, you make it look easy. I've been doing it a long time though. So it's like you build those muscles in your hands. And when you don't have them, you're just like, don't even know what's going on.
