Summary

Right then... Two disqualifications, challenging weather conditions and a few crazy crashes should make for a pretty easy Driver Ratings episode!

Hello everybody and welcome back to the B1 podcast with Matt and Tommy.

0:11.1

Driver ratings, Las Vegas.

0:15.5

Are we ready to grade every driver driver from zero all the way to 10 after probably using a lot of our mental and brain capacities,

0:26.2

trying to process how on earth that weekend ended the way that it did.

0:31.7

Well, Tommy, I'm ready.

0:32.9

I'm so ready.

0:33.7

I've got my numbers locked in.

0:35.4

How about you?

0:36.5

So have I.

0:37.2

But yeah, the race, like, it was such a weird end to the race that I still haven't computed it in my brain, I think. No, no, me neither. And I couldn't compute either, the four-stop strategy that we had at Lasford. Oh, wait, no, it was a one stop. And everybody did a one stop apart from Alex Albon.

1:21.5

because Gabby Bortoletto had a stinker of a weekend.

1:26.7

I'm giving him a 1 out of ten. Poor qualifying. Of course,

1:31.3

it was difficult qualifying and the fact that he didn't crash is a good thing because

1:35.8

it was very easy to do so. Albon was the only one to make a mistake in qualifying.

1:41.1

From what I remember, at least a big mistake that meant he went into the wall.

1:44.6

And then, as for the race, a catastrophic error.

1:49.8

I don't, I'm not even really giving him leniency with anything higher than a one,

1:54.1

because it was such a bad error that it genuinely put quite a bit of risk into term one

2:00.6

with how quickly he went barreling in there

2:03.1

and cost a couple of drivers their races, Lance Stroll of course, and yeah, it was just absolute
