When we talked almost a year ago, the pandemic had not yet hit Larry personally.

But as is the case for so many of us, that is no longer true.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Larry lost his brother, fellow comedy writer Mark Wilmore,

at just 57 years old due to complications from COVID-19 and other medical conditions.

Mark was a cast member on In Living Color and wrote for shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Simpsons.
