Summary

Retired FBI agent and criminal profiler Candice DeLong walks us through the sordid case of Larry Gene Bell, the South Carolina serial killer who murdered teenage girl Shari Smith and 9-year-old Debra Helmick. Candice's mentor at the FBI, John Douglas, helped identify Bell and called him “one of the most sadistic murderers I’ve come across" for tormenting the families by telephone and forcing his victim to write her own obituary.
