The problem is Republicans are super motivated to go to the polls and get rid of Gavin Newsom. And Democrats are kind of like eh on Gavin Newsom. When you look at the polls, one of the things that's truly shocking is Latino voters are really eh on Gavin Newsom. They really don't care about his fate, which means that Gavin Newsom is in serious trouble.

Now, it would be preferable to get to a time in California where a Republican could win a gubernatorial election just outright without having to go through the recall process.

But it seems as though because California is such a one-party state and the entire legislature

is dominated by Democrats, because of all of that, the only way that conservatives ever get a shot

is if people are sort of blindingly awakened to what is happening in their state. And they usually

happens around one particular incident. In this case, there's probably Gavin Newsom over at the

French laundry, demonstrating full scale that there is one rule for the elites and one

rule for everybody else. But it seems as though the bad administration of the state for the

last 15, 20 years has really collapsed in on Gavin Newsom. And Larry Elder could be the beneficiary.
