Tim Walts. Okay. I was at the, the, um, the, the, uh, Peking university and engaging with

economists. And I had made the statement. I'd corrected him when he had said that Mao had made

mistakes. And I said, excuse me. This was in 2010. I said, killing more than 70 million of your

own people is more than a mistake. And the Chinese deny my visa and say that I'll

only be allowed into the country if I will sign a document stating that I will write, I will

neither write nor say anything negative about China. I'm banned after one visit. But here's a guy who's going back while he's a national guardsman, while he's a politician, 30 plus times.

Now, the only way that the Chinese Communist Party is allowing you to do that is if they see you as a useful idiot.

He is a self-described evangelical, but that's not really why we're having him on, although we get into a little bit about how

secularism might be killing the West here. We also discuss his recent trip to Cuba. What it means

that Tim Walls took many trips to China. This guy is a documentarian. He's a writer. He's a producer. He's a podcaster. He does a lot of

interesting stuff. And he travels. In fact, he's gone to two world economic forms. And he dishes a

little bit on that as well. This is a really interesting conversation with a really interesting,

like I said, worldly guy who speaks in a way that you

can understand. He's from a military family, grew up on bases all over the country. I think
