Tonight, we are joined by UFC legend, Chale Sahnan.

Chale, welcome to the show.

Just before we kicked it off, you and I had a little back and forth here.

I was referencing what a great job I felt Pete Hegseth had done in his questions on Capitol Hill,

talking with members of Congress for his Senate confirmation. Obviously, he has to go through

this whole process. And some of them were a little tough on him. But what I said was, look,

I agree with what Pete Hexeth had to say. Every person in the United States military who wants

to be involved in combat, or quite frankly,

anything in general, she get the same test. One of my favorite movies is GI Jane. I was ready

and I'm still ready, chill at any moment to go through Navy still training. I'm waiting for them to call

me. Maybe my phone will ring after this. And I remember in that movie where Demi Moore says, I don't need the step.

I'm going to do the same test that the guys do because when we're out on the battlefield,

that's what's going to count. We're not going to get an extra step. And that's just generally

how I operate. And I consider myself to be a rather fit lady. I think there are a lot of guys

who I could probably take down in any sort of fitness competition. But what are your thoughts about all of that? And what do you think of me possibly training with the Navy SEALs? It's a dream of mine. I am so inspired by the last 60 seconds. You make me want to stand up and go run through a wall right now. I love that. I love everything about it. Somebody that wants to go and do that seal training. And what a tremendous compliment. I went down there and I got to see that. I watch a couple of their, well, I call it practice sessions just from my sports background. It was so organized, Laura, you would not believe it. They were doing things running the ocean. They're bringing boats out.

They're hanging on the boats. They're doing mock rescue missions. And when this whole thing is done, they swept it up and cleaned it up like they had never even been there. And that was one of the things that the sergeant was looking for that was overseeing. There's a gentleman named Jody, now head of security for Lorenzo Fertita, but he was watching to make sure that everybody did their own thing.

And that was a big thing to make sure you cleaned it so well that there was no trace that you were there.

And this was all before they went to dinner.
