He's the founder of Body by Jake, Jake Steinfeld. Jake, welcome to the show. I got to tell you that way back when, and I don't want to say how far back, but we all know Body by Jake. My mom was such a big fan. I feel like I knew you, like for my whole life. I feel like I've known you, and I'm excited to get to talk to you.

So thank you for spending a little time with me today.

And I know you went to college for a brief time before dropping out and moving to California,

which obviously was the right move for you.

So tell me about all of it.

Tell me about the life story and how you ended up being

body by Jake. Well, my goodness, first of what, that's a, that's a lot. But Lara, great to talk to you.

You're looking awesome as always. Thank you. Let's just cut back to just a little bit of time.

I didn't drop out. I retired from college. You know Cornell University? I do.

Well, I went to Cortland down the street and went up there to play lacrosse. I'll go back a little

further. I was an overweight kid. I had a bad stutter growing up. My dad bought me a set of weights

when I was 13 years old, and it really changed my life. I mean, not only did the weights build

my body, but I built my confidence and self-esteem. And I immediately thought, I've got to go to

California to become Mr. America. And I mean, I was obsessed with Alara.

I mean, I really was. And I'll never forget the moment. As I said, I was upstate New York,

not too conducive to walk around in gold lam A posing trunks in 18 inches of snow. Yeah, that's a good
