I'm, of course, your host, John Campia.

Joining me and studio today is, of course, Jonathan Voico. Hello, everybody. Writer, director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. Great to be here. And most importantly, of course, you guys are here. Thank you so much for being here, making our little show party or day. And listen, we do got a number of things to talk about in the wonderful world of movies and movie news,

TV and streaming and all that stuff. But before we get started, last little bit of housekeeping

here, the movie meetup tour kicks off again this week. I'm actually going to be leaving

Wednesday night. And so we are, of course, our first stop is going to be this coming Sunday in

Columbus, Ohio, May 24th at the 630 screening of Mandalorian at the Marcus

Crosswood Cinema. A couple days later, we're going to be in New York City, at least the

New York City area on Tuesday, May 26th for the 720 p.m. screening of Mandalorian at the AMC. Roosevelt Field 8.

The next night, we're going to be in the Boston area on Wednesday, May 27th for a 715 screening of Mandalorian at the AMC Brain Tree 10.

And then, of course, I'm going home to the Toronto area to the Cineplex Cinemas, Queensway, and VIP for a screening of Mandeloran and Grogo on Sunday, May 31st. We do not yet have a screen time for that because they haven't started releasing the tickets for that date yet, but it will be in the evening. The way you come to one of these things, if you want to come and join us to one of these movie meetups, is really simple. I'm just going going to be at that movie watching it just like everybody else. If you want to go, go to the movie theater's website, buy yourself a ticket to that screening, and we will see you there. And then afterwards, I'm going to hang out for about an hour or so out front and say hi to everybody and take pictures and all that sorts of fun stuff. and I hope we get to see you guys at the movie meetups.

With that down, guys, let's get kicked things off with this.

You know, the movie, Michael, I said, once they announced this, guys, this movie's going to be huge.

If it's really good, it could be a billion dollar film. This could be the biggest musical biopic of all time. Now, I thought the movie was enjoyable. I had a good time. I'm proud to say I give the movie a thumbs up. But I also think the movie could have been better. And I completely understand the criticisms that it gets. And so I question whether or not it could get to a billion.

The jury's still out on that. But in a unprecedented event, but rare, Michael Jackson, the movie Michael, took back the number one spot at the box office this weekend in its fourth week in its fourth week and on its

fourth weekend i believe it pulled in 26 million dollars uh devil wears prada made 18 million

obsession coming in at 16 million a very respectable number for that. But Michael comes in at

700 million worldwide. So number one, this movie is already a big hit. Big hit. Tons of
