formerly known in the World Wrestling Federation as the genius has passed away.

Lani Mark Pofo was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on December 28, 1954.

His father was wrestling promoter Angelo Pofo and his older brother was Randall Mario Pofo, aka Macho Man Randy Savage.

So it was destiny that Lani would make his way into the ring as well, which he did in 1974, making his debut for

Atlanta-based All-South Wrestling Alliance as his father's tag team partner.

Pofo joined his father's outlaw promotion, a wrestling company that's

unaffiliated with the National Wrestling Alliance International

Championship Wrestling, where he won the ICW heavyweight title three times.
