Cop 28. Let's do this.

Cop 28 ended with a historic new climate deal that could signal the beginning of the end of fossil fuels.

For the first time in nearly three decades of United Nations climate talks,

nearly 200 countries agreed to transition away from oil, coal, and gas.

The deal also calls for a tripling of renewable energy capacity

and a doubling of energy efficiency both by 2030.

But the deal is non-binding and many civil society groups and scientists say it doesn't go far enough,
