Hey there folks, I'm Dave Holmes. Welcome to Troubled Waters. The show that treats popular

culture is the most important kind of culture because, well, it's the thing you're stuck at home

consuming. Now, in the before times, Troubled Waters would pit two teams of comedians against each

other in a pop culture battle royale. But now we are living in a Preper's paradise and everyone on the show is recording

from their respective bunkers. We're mixing things up a little bit just to keep things simple because

everybody knows too many people on a Zoom call is just, it's chaos and you spend too much time

looking for the perfect virtual background selection. We're not doing it. So to win this battle,

each comic will be

called upon to use their smarts, their rhetorical skills, maybe the college degrees, they're still

paying off, to earn the coveted troubled waters title, Pundit Emeritus. The P.E. title automatically

gives a person's opinion on, for example, let's say the healing power of Tom Hanks's blood.

Now, because we're playing remotely, we are no longer bound by the confines of a studio.

So we are, again, grabbing contestants who we love, who don't live within a reasonable driving distance of maximum fun HQ.
