It's not always about the number of acres you have to manage, but more about the useable space on the property. This could also be understood as suitable acres for bobwhite quail habitat. The bobwhite quail is not a generalist species like whitetail deer, they require specific habitat to be able to survive and reproduce, without it present quail will be extremely limited.
