Welcome back to the podcast. Yes. I've been on vacation. I have not been on vacation, but I'm very excited about today.

You're going to have to bring the energy for me. Well, great. I'm a little on vacation.

Like, it's not that often that we have people on that I'm, like, friends with. Yeah. And, like, I have known Lance. Lance Basquez. Woo! I've known Lance forever. Forever? Ever. My gosh. Way back. Yeah. Okay, well, I feel like I don't even know this story. Really? I don't think. I mean, we've just known each other because, you know, just through this world and laugh and music. But also, he and ah, the geniuses that we are. Also, I had a show that we really wanted to get on the air together. He loves interior design as do I. So I don't know. There's just been all kinds of things. Oh, okay. Well, great. Yeah. So where were you guys when you met? Do you remember? Probably Nashville. Maybe. Really? Yeah. I mean, we've been around each other so many times. We really have. Definitely Nashville connections. I don't know like Cindy Owen, the McIntyre world.

We just, it's for some reason we've just always been in those circles together. Interesting. Did you ever live in Nashville? No. I'm from Mississippi. So, you know, I got up to Nashville a good bit. My friends went to college there. I still go there a lot. I write there a lot. But yeah, I've never actually lived in Nashville. We did toy with it a few years ago. Right as COVID started, we were thinking about locating ourselves in Nashville. And a lot of people did. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of people did. It wasn't a bad way to be. I don't know. Yeah. I just needed to change. You know, like I think about that all the time, but I do love Austin. It is really amazing.

It's great. Yeah. You only have to be like in proper Austin. Just the outskirts are incredible. So my best friends move there and, you know, they just had kids and it's a great place to raise kids. Yeah. Totally. Nashville too. I think that for me Nashville was just I was there

for so long but when I went to Austin with Brandy um what would we in Austin for oh South by Southwest

yeah South by yeah and I fell in love with it it's amazing what's the little town I keep why don't

I always forget the little bitty town outside Nashville oh Franklin it's not It's not even smaller than that. Leapers for. So that's where I actually found a house in Leapers, right next to Cindy O. And I'm like, you know what? I need this in my life right now. It's amazing. I just needed that piece, but I don't know if I would have been there for six months and were like, what am I doing? I think so.

Well, you should have bought it because all the houses in Leepers Fork are like quadruple the price. Really? Yeah, it would have been a great investment. It's that. Yeah. It's absolutely insane. Yeah. The property there now is so expensive. I mean, when I was first in Nashville, Leepers Fork was like a, yeah, like nothing.

And now it is the place to be. Really? Yeah. That's crazy. But I think you're like me. I feel like you need to be more stimulated. I need to be close to action. I've always been, I've always said, you know, I've been two hours away from all action wherever I've lived. You know, in Mississippi, two hours from New Orleans. Orlando, I'm close to Miami. You know, and here close to Vegas. So I need something just fun in my life. Yeah. Leapers, although you're close to Nashville, I do a little more action than that. Yeah. It's like there's not anything much to do. But what I love about it and is like it is such a

community. Like everybody there now, it like knows each other major like artists. Like it really is like,
