Summary

NBA contenders face shakeups as injuries, early-game strategy changes, and surprise performances disrupt fantasy basketball expectations. Will the Toronto Raptors maintain momentum with Jakob Poeltl back in the lineup? Is Collin Gillespie’s hot streak on the Phoenix Suns sustainable given Grayson Allen and Devin Booker’s looming returns? Intriguing questions arise as young stars like Scoot Henderson and Jaylon Tyson hit minute restrictions, and veterans such as Deandre Ayton and Nikola Vucevic see their fantasy stock plummet.

Now, today's show, I'm just going to get straight into talking about these games because after this finishes and after Sunday's games finish, I've got to go into all the Locked-on Fantasy Basketball leagues and set the playoff match-ups, which is an annoying thing, but I've got to go do it. So that's what we're going to do. We're recapping on Sunday. There are 11 games on. A lot of them were early in the day, which, yeah, for whatever reason, that's what they did.

First game.

Let's target. Cabs, Thunder, is that first game, and Oklahoma City wins at 121, 113. The Cavs are basically fully healthy now, apart from Struce, who doesn't really count, because he just hasn't been there all season, and I don't even know if he's coming back. But I think we want to start out with Jalen Tyson, who played just 16 minutes for seven points on 28% shooting. Get that garbage out here. He had been voodoo doling his way all the way through all season, two, three guys out, and then someone comes back and you shoot 70% it still looks good. I think the bubbles burst.

What we do know is that if one to two more guys go down then yeah, we can go back to Tyson and use him but at the moment he's clogging up space. Evan Mobley only played 25 minutes here. Jarrett Allen only 29. They were fine in those minutes. You just want a little bit more playing time. But we've got 23 minutes out of Keon Ellis. He is generating really good steel numbers. So if you need those categories, that's what he does. But we're not rostering him otherwise. And Schroeder played 22 minutes, 11, 4 and 7 with a triple 1. On the surface, that's a good line. That's a good line to consider, but I'm not considered. Well, I did consider it, and I said no. We're only doing that in deeper formats. Jimmy Harden had 20 and 5 with 9 assists. His usage is well down in Cleveland, although this was a better usage game. Well, Donnie Mitchell had 20 and 7 with 5 assists and 2 steals. Sam Merrill. Numbers were pretty good here, but we know what this is. We know who he is. He's threes. 6 threes, 20 points, and then a combined three rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. All rebounds. That is not going to cut it because A, he won't play 29 minutes a night, B, he
