Very excited to do a little intro for this episode because I have done over 200 of these babies.

And never yet have I been able to speak to an active professional basketball player but that changed with this episode because I was nice enough to be joined by Lamar

Peters who if you're even a casual Nook fan you will know as the point guard who has absolutely

been killing it up in Westchester

this year.

As I said on the podcast, I think had the season not gone down the way it did, he would have

gotten a contract somewhere with an NBA team, but I have no doubt that at some point,

sooner rather than later, I'm going to be able to say that I spoke to NBA player Lamar Peters, even though it hasn't happened yet.

In any case, we had a great conversation. He was kind enough to join me for a few minutes after he got done working out.

Just as a precursor, as sometimes happens with phone connections, the sound quality wasn't perfect.

That said, if you checked out the Ronnie Brewer episode from a few months back, this is definitely better than that.
