Hello and welcome into latest edition of ESPN FC. Today's show is a prediction frenzy, but of course the Premier League and LaLiga kicking off on Friday.

0:14.0

Ali Moreno is here, so is Stevie Nickel. We'll start in Spain, shall we? Because it's sunny there.

0:19.0

This is all the bookies have things set. Real Madrid are the favourites, defending Champions Barcelona at 11-8. No other team is going to win it, so we'll only need to talk about them.

0:28.0

Yes, well, come in, shall we? Ian Darken, Stuart Robson are with us. Ian has his suitcase packed. He's ready to go to Bill Balfour for the opening game between them and Real Madrid. Ian, who have you got winning it all?

0:42.0

Well, I'm going to tip Real Madrid this time. Of course, Barcelona, I've got to play all their games away from the cap-no this time around. They're going to play at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.

0:53.0

I just think Real Madrid will have the bit between their teeth a little bit as well, having not won the title and not won the Champions League last season.

1:01.0

And of course, they've got Jude Bellingham will have his debut for you at Athletic Club at the weekend, so that's a really tasty one.

1:10.0

Of course, Barcelona's start their programme away at Hit Happy, where the stadium is going to be empty, which is another story.

1:17.0

But I've got Barcelona's second Athletico third, Sevilla, who made a great comeback last season. They might be relegated at one stage, one of the Europa League.

1:26.0

Levin Dowski to be top scorer again, and maybe even this year's to be player of the year. Those are my guesses. They're no more than that.

1:33.0

When you see Ian's picture, for a moment, it looks like it's not sunglasses, but you know criminals that have their eyes blacked out so you can't tell who they are.

1:40.0

That's what I took away from that. Did you say something about football during that?

1:46.0

But why Ian are Real Madrid going to be better this season considering they've lost Benzema? They've brought in Bellingham, but they're still a long way off, aren't they?

1:55.0

Well, yeah, they're not the perfect model yet, but I think they'll still have enough. They've got the midfield players, of course, who are coming through the likes of Valverde and Camervinga.

2:05.0

And Bellingham is going to play, I think, just off the front, too, who it looks like will be Vinicius on Rodrigo, unless there's a sensational late arrival by Mbappe, in which case you can rip up all those plans that they'd be even stronger.

2:18.0

But Barcelona kind of, I think just kind of tailed off a little bit, having established that big lead last season.

2:25.0

I think Levantowski was worried about their, you know, how much they were actually creating from January on.

2:32.0

So I just think with them not being in their home stadium as well, Real Madrid will have the edge this time, but you know, it could be different, couldn't it?

2:40.0

Barcelona's an interesting signing. Got a bag of goals for Espanol last season, he's 33, so he could be brought in tactically here and there when they want a kind of real folkroom up top.

2:52.0

I think we've asked you to give us your round, which is starting 11, if you'd like to share that.

2:57.0

Absolutely, and I was told to not include Killian Bappe, because he is not a real man.

3:03.0

Okay, so I'm going with two of course, Danny Carvajaro on the right hand side of the back line.
