All right, many more off-season outlooks to get to here.

And we're going to get to a few teams that have been vanquished in the first round of the playoffs.

Let's begin with the team that was the three-seed had great hopes for these playoffs.

And now that we're in the finals, it seems so long ago that the Los Angeles Lakers were

eliminated. And I think the place I want to start with them since it's been a while now is just

to refresh ourselves on what they really were missing that they realistically could add to this group

before we talk about the finances and the ways in which they

might try to add those owns. The Lakers have some of the best shot creation in the entire league

with LeBron James, assuming he comes back in whatever form. We'll of course discuss that. And

Luca Donchich, who they acquired at the deadline in the most shocking trade and NBA history.

What they didn't have, and then you could add Austin Reeves to that if you wanted as well,

what they didn't have was capable big man play offensively or defensively, I would say.

They had that as an awkward thing in the playoffs where they ended up playing small a lot.

And then there are a couple different elements of kind of the perimeter rotation.

You'd love to have at least one more defensive player who isn't terrible on offense. And ideally probably one more

offensive player who isn't terrible on defense. Like the two-way play was a real problem

for me for them as well. Yeah, they were missing a lot. And of course, when you have stars like

Luca and LeBron James, who probably is actually just recovered from that sprained MCL now and can start working out again.

Austin Reeves, who of course really disappointed in that series offensively against the wolves.

And that was part to me of why they lost.

Wasn't even necessarily that they couldn't stop anybody, which they couldn't.
