Happy Wednesday everyone. John and I will be recording tomorrow once we know more of the playoff match-ups to do our annual playoff outlook

But it's time to get into some of the seven game series now that we do know the

matchups for. Let's begin Danny with Denver and LA because LA won last night

and we know that matchup it's fresh in mind right now.

And not only is it fresh in mind in terms of being recently solidified it is fresh in mind

because it was actually the most recent Western Conference playoff series because it was the Western Conference finals last year and while the Lakers have changed their lineup, they've changed some theories.

Darb and Ham has gone to more of an offensive focused group.

I think that the general dynamics that ended up being so prevalent in that Western conference

finals are still here and so the core questions to me are can the lakers

the lakers slow down the metronome can they get it you know I've used 120 as a

benchmark but can they slow down Denver's offense when yolkich is on the

floor and or can they score enough

that they can overcome it at least some of the time. They might be in better position to do

the latter than they were a year ago for a couple of reasons. Number one is that Bruce Brown is not a Denver

Nugget anymore, although Peyton Watson is now in the rotation and he probably actually makes up for what they were losing

with Bruce Brown, although he does it in a different way but the

Lakers are kind of they have to rely on De Angela Russell they've also got Rhee

Hotchymura ensconced now as the starting three and they've kind of leaned into this Russell and Reeves

backcourt gave Vincent Spencer Dinwoody give them more offense off the bench

than Dennis Schroeder a year ago LeBron LeBron says that he's feeling better.

A.D. will see, both of them look pretty terrible, I thought,

on Tuesday, but they managed to make their way through.
