Summary

In 19th century India, Queen Lakshmi Bai defied gender expectations – from riding horses to sword fighting to leading armies into battle. Due to her bravery and leadership, she became a powerful symbol of India’s rebellion against Great Britain. This podcast is a production of Rebel Girls. It’s based on the book series Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls.
