Welcome let's talk some Lakers basketball. I know you guys have a lot of questions, a lot of

comments, a lot going on in the world of the Lakers for us to get into tonight. We've got some

interesting stuff happening

things, kind of contradictory stuff happening.

J.J. Reddick, is he gonna be the coach or not?

We've got James Barrego getting an interview?

All kinds of things happening there.

Maybe Rajan Rondo getting into the mix,

so a lot of stuff to talk about there.

We need to talk about the trade front, too.

Who the Lakers could trade away from this team

as they're looking to build things out, who stay all sorts of stuff for us to talk about tonight so welcome in for those you who are now joining the show

appreciate all of you being here I know we're kind of in this weird limbo right now aren't we where we're we're all waiting for the coaching news to come out so we can move forward with some kind of certainty if it's gonna be. Rettick and that's the way it feels like this is going to be J. J. J. Rettick,

okay, let's make it J. J. Rettick and let's move forward, right?

But I think with the J. J. Rettick situation, you could be in an interesting conundrum where he needs to cover the finals for ESPN. And so how do you do that? How do you not only put your coaching search kind of on pause or you just kind of hold everything for the moment

while you're still you know interviewing some other candidates and things like that

and then allow j. J. J. to do his thing while you're preparing for

the draft while you're preparing for free agency while the trade market is

going on there's so many different things that are going to be happening at the

same time that I think it's a little bit of a challenge to kind of navigate all of that at once.

I do still think that when the dust settles, it's going to be JJ Reddick that's going to wind up being the Lakers head coach.
