on the show thank you for having me trevor it's good to see you good to have you on here. We've got a big game. It's always a big game when it's Lakers, Warriors, LeBron, Steph, all that kind of stuff. But particularly when we look at the standings and what's on the line in this one, this is a really important game at this stage of the season. I think we're going to get the best out of both of these teams. So I'm excited for this one.

When we look at where the Lakers are at, they've won their last two. How important is this game tonight specifically for the Lakers beyond just the standings in terms of getting to playing their best basketball? How important is this for them? I think it's very important. I think you can make a case it's the most important

remaining game or right there with the Houston game, the Houston one, just given the implications

of the two seed versus potentially the four seed and the battle with Denver there. You could

probably make a case that's the most important remaining game. But to me, this is a big one because

in terms of the tiebreakers,

this can give the Lakers an advantage in winning the Pacific Division and distance themselves

from Golden State a bit. And if the Lakers win the Pacific Division, which it looks like they should,

they will have that tiebreaker over teams like Denver and Minnesota. If they don't

win the Pacific Division, then that goes into the conference record. And Lakers are still

in a good spot with the conference record. But still, you'd like to just have that tied up.

And that also would mean they're ahead of Golden State. So I think it's a big game.

It's going to be the first time that they have faced the Warriors with Jimmy Butler.

They've been one of the hottest teams in the league.

And with L.A. showing they can win in various styles against Memphis and against Houston.

I think this is just another test to see where this group is currently at.

Yeah, I think that this is going to be a big test for them. When I look at, you know, right now the

standings now, keep in mind everybody here, we're recording this prior to Wednesday night's games.
