Lakers versus Sons tonight.

It is the first game of the in-season tournament for the Lakers.

So that means get ready to see a very bright floor in Phoenix.

I think they went with a majority purple scheme, though,

which is probably going to be a little bit easier on the eyes

than if they had gone with the orange.

The Lakers court when they play Memphis next week, it's going to be very, very yellow in there. Wow, some of these floors are certainly distracted. But nonetheless, this is the first game of the end season tournament, but you know what? I don't think that matters all that much. No, what matters most to the Lakers tonight, it is get a win. Any way you can. This road trip has been a disaster.

O and three on the road trip have not won a game on the road all season. Yes, we're only eight

games in, but still, that is bad. Three and five on the season. And the Lakers, again,

badly need to break this losing streak against Phoenix. Will not be easy. I'm going to dive into the injury report in just a moment. That has been so critical for your Los Angeles Lakers and such a big negative for this team. So we'll take a look at that. We need to talk a little bit about what the players are saying right now. How do the players feel? They understand that not only are they losing, not only do they have tons of players out hurt, but they also don't look good on the floor. Things do not look right. So what are the players talking about? I want to dive into that as well. We'll break down this matchup. We'll talk a little bit about what the Lakers need to do to get the win against the suns. And then I'm going to open up the mailbag and get to some of the comments coming from Lakers fans. So let's dive into it. Well, actually, you know what? The Lakers have Anthony Davis and Jackson Hayes both listed as questionable. Davis dealing with a left adductor slash hip spasm. Now, he warmed up prior to the game against the Houston Rockets.

He decided to see if he could give it a go before the opening tip.

He wanted to just kind of get his workout in and then make a decision right before the game.

And unfortunately, he was not able to go.
