So let's start here. The Lakers list Austin Reeves as questionable for game five. Maybe not a

surprise in that. Austin has been questionable the last couple of games, game three and game four.

Of course, the Lakers won games one through three and then they lost game four in blowout fashion

in Houston.

So now the Lakers are a chance to close out the series tonight.

Will Austin Reeves be back?

Well, it sure sounds like it.

He did practice yesterday.

Should he wake up not feeling right, then maybe he doesn't wind up playing.

But it seems like there's a lot of optimism that Austin will indeed play for the Lakers return for the first time in about a month, almost, since that

oblique strain that he's been dealing with. So would be good to get Austin Reeves back in action

for the Lakers. I'll get into what his return would actually mean for the team in just a moment.

Luca Donchich, of course, also listed as out looking like it's not super likely that he'd be back next round either.

Should the Lakers survive round one in advance to play the Oklahoma City Thunder and round two?

It's not looking super likely, at least not at the beginning of the series. We'll see how things

ultimately go with Luke over. The Lakers, of course, have to be very careful with that left hamstring

strain. Now, the Houston Rockets are dealing with an injury of their own. Obviously, they're without

Fred Van Bleet. They're without Stephen Adams. Those guys are out for the season. But Kevin Durant once again listed out.
