game day. Lakers Pistons 7.30 p.m. Pacific time tonight. This is a big time matchup for the

Lakers, a major test, a Piston side that right now is the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.

They've been playing fantastic basketball. And I think there's some real challenges, some familiar challenges as well that the

Pistons can throw at the Lakers.

And the Lakers are going to have to prove that they can finally deal with these sorts of

issues.

So I'm excited for tonight's matchup.

We'll see what the Lakers can do with the Pistons.

I do want to get into what the Lakers are going to need to accomplish to get the win tonight. Plus the injury report. So Jackson Hades will be returning to the Lakers.

Reddick noted after practice yesterday that Rui Hachamura was a little banged up, wasn't

certain what his status was going to be.

Lo and behold, status report shows Rui Hachamara, right calf,

sorness. Of course, the NBA has been plagued by calf issues all season long.
