All right. Let's get into it.

First and foremost, our guys over a bet US right now have the Lakers a three and a half point

favorite tonight against the New York Knicks.

So not the heaviest of favorites, but that's a fairly substantial line there in favor of your

Los Angeles Lakers.

They are getting some positive things popping up on the injury report.

And we'll get to that in just a moment.

But again, this is a very good Knicks team.

Are they top tier?

No, I have the Knicks as a second tier team in the Eastern Conference. It's the Cavs, it's the Celtics. Then there's a gap, then the Knicks. And then there's a gap, in my opinion, and then the rest of the teams in the East fall into line after that. There's a few more tiers below that. But I have the Nix in a tier by themselves in the Eastern Conference. They are a very good team. They are one level, in my opinion, below championship contention. That's what I have, these New York Knicks as maybe you agree with me. Maybe you don't. But right now, the Lakers are three and a half point favorite. A win tonight would go a long way, I think, towards proving that the Lakers can beat some of the top tier teams in the NBA. Obviously, Saturday's matchup against the Boston Celtics looms large if the Lakers show well. And that one, that will probably be much more of a prove it type game for the Lakers. But nonetheless, this is still a very good next team. And for those that are still doubting the Lakers, not me, I believe. I think this seems for real.
