I'm joined by Matt the optimist Peralta. Matt, how you doing? Doing pretty well, all things consider, Trevor. A little bit of a bummer that the perfect LA Sports Week has officially come to an end now with both the Lakers and dodgers losing but you know what it's all right

um neither of these teams were probably going to go undefeated forever so i think it's cool that we get

to move on and preview such a this is actually a really sneaky good game i feel like between the

lakers and calves coming up it is um and we'll get into it there's i think a lot to look at in this matchup that's going to be really, really interesting, but the Lakers did lose to the Sons. It was a close game. Did you see the last two-minute report came out? And the only thing on it for Laker Sons was indeed that Mason Plumley fouled Anthony Davis. Just like we all said said he did. The refs blew it.

They missed it. That definitely could have changed the outcome of the game. You know, Matt, I walked away from it saying, I don't feel that bad. Like it's never good when the Lakers lose. But we just saw, I think, LeBron's worst game as a Laker for the entirety of his time here, his worst game as a Laker. and they lost by four to one of the best teams of the Western Conference.

where Matt the Optimist Peralta comes into play, Trevor, because I'm in the same boat. Let's like

really look at it from like a macro perspective here. The Lakers had just seen the suns they this was their first road

game the sons probably have a little bit of extra motivation to want to win that game especially

because they're home and they had just lost to the lakers like you mentioned this is probably

and i i personally believe lebron's worst game in a lakers uniform like playoffs regular season whatever

yeah and like you mentioned the lakers still had a shot

to win that game and you know sometimes you got to win ugly and i think the lakers have that

ability to do that given how they played against the sun so all things considered um it's not an

excuse like you still would have preferred to see them win but i think you have to come away a little

bit encouraged because that game could have easily gotten off the rails at some point but they stayed in it and gave themselves a chance to win and i think that's all you can ask for yeah um there there were some moments there towards the end where i thought okay they're they're going to do this they're going to find a way to get it done didn't quite happen kevin durant just hit too many contested twos.
