One day closer to the Lakers season finally beginning that's right who would

have thought you know two Dodger guys would be on here talking Lakers in September when uh not a whole

lot's going on but uh happy to see you my friend thank you thank you I know there is a Dodgers game

happening right now and uh they did what they always do they screwed it up with the bases loaded. So some things to get into. We actually did have some content as we were prepping for this show 24 hours ago. It's like, I don't know, we'll talk a little Slovenia versus Italy and that kind of thing. But we got an interesting Mark Stein report connecting the Lakers to a name that they've been connected

to multiple times so far. We will talk a little bit of Eurobasket. And then I've got five big

questions for you as kind of recapping the offseason that the Lakers have had so far. We got a super

chat here from BG, the kid, though. Feels like Clippers noise dying down nationally.

Why, Daniel?

Why are we not talking more about the Clippers scandal?

Well, first of all, I feel like anyone in the basketball world is talking about it just because

there's not a whole lot going on right now.

But the main thing is the NBA said that they launched an investigation, and that's going to take some time.

They're going to need to collect whatever evidence they can.

So I think it's just going to take some time.

We might not hear about it in an official sense for like a few months, but they are investigating.

So I don't think anyone needs to worry about that.
