Hello, everybody. Welcome in. Trevor Lane here for lakersnation.com. We're going to talk some Lakers basketball here. Welcome to the show. If you are joining me live on AMP, I'll be taking some callers. We'll take questions. We've got another hour and a half or so of Lakers basketball to talk about. We'll talk a little bit about new additions like Ruey Hachamura, Anthony Davis, something of a new addition, back in action, talking about the way he played against the spurs. We'll talk about the trade deadline, of course, coming up on February 9th, what that means for the Los Angeles Lakers. We'll talk a little bit about what the rotation, what happens with that from here on now. Lots of things to dive into today. I already have some colors coming in over on the AMP app. By the way, if you haven't done so already, make sure you are following on the AMP app and you are subscribing as well. 1:26.0

as i'm recording this uh it is still the three-year

1:29.6

anniversary of the passing of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, of course, seven others in that helicopter

1:34.3

crash. It's still unbelievable. I want to make sure that we address this, at least on the

1:39.8

podcast side. Over on the YouTube channel, Matt the Optimus Peralta and I did a video on that.

1:46.3

Our fantastic editor did a great job cutting together some really great scenes.

1:52.2

And so go check that out.

1:54.0

We go a little further in depth and do our thoughts and kind of our feelings behind this tragic day.

1:59.8

But I think it's still surreal for a lot of us in

2:04.4

Lakers Nation that that Kobe is gone and when I say Lakers Nation I meet all of us in

2:08.4

the Lakers fan base that Kobe is gone and it's it still just doesn't feel real

2:15.0

and it's something that people are still adjusting to but as I told told Matt, and again, we talked about a lot more in depth, definitely go check out

2:21.7

that video on the YouTube channel.

2:22.7

But one of probably the proudest moments that I've had as being part of Lakers Nation,

2:29.3

being the host of the show and everything, has been when Lakers fans just leaned on each other in that moment.

2:37.8

That was such a tragedy that it hit all of us, hit all of us at the same time.

2:42.6

We had that unfortunate shared experience, and I was blown away by how many fans came together

2:49.9

and supported each other and leaned on each other through such a difficult time.

2:54.1

So I wanted to make sure that I addressed that.
