They almost lost at the buzzer.

Too close for comfort, not what we were expecting from a Lakers Rockets game, but got the win. Nonetheless, that's the important part. We're going to break down the game here tonight. How stressful was that game?

I am never going to be able to watch a lakers game this season in peace trevor uh this one was way too close for comfort as evidenced by the last couple

minutes of course the win is nice but it's one of those wins that doesn't feel too great it shouldn't

have gone this close and to be honest the lakers shouldn't have even been in this position to begin with. But, you know, the Lakers moved to five and three, which is, I believe, good for third now in the Western Conference in this early part of the season. So that's good. We're now 10% of the season away. So all things considered, things could be worse. But again, it's just one of those things where you wish

the lakers played better and didn't have to you know try this hard toward the end i think the

frustrating part for me was it felt like against the calves and then again against the rockets

the lakers had taken some steps forward right like the last game against the rockets there was

never much of a doubt

about who was going to win that game. The Lakers were in control the entire way. And then against the

Cavs, we saw the defense turn things up when Frank Vogel went to the smaller lineup, went to

Avery Bradley in there. And tonight, the defense didn't really show up. It almost seemed like
