I'm opening up the call-in line so people can call into the show. We could talk some Lakers basketball. We kicked off today's show for those listening on AMP with the little Beach Boys. Good Vibrations. What with that song specifically? Well, part of it is because it's summertime. You tend to think of the Beach Boys boys. Good vibrations. What with that song specifically?

Well, part of it is because it's summertime.

You tend to think of the Beach Boys when it's summertime,

but also the Lakers.

Been some pretty good vibes this summer, hasn't there?

For L.A.

I think they have been absolutely phenomenal

with the moves that they made this summer,

did all the things that we were hoping

they would do, didn't do anything crazy, didn't swing for the fences and go after this third

star that may or may not fit. We saw that happen a few years ago. We know that path. We know how

treacherous it can be. Know the Lakers this summer they did the things they needed to do.

They added pieces to a team that was already pretty good, as we saw last season,

a team that went to the Western Conference Finals.

They made sure they kept the core intact, and they added some guys that I think can help out quite a lot.

And I think some of that gets lost a little bit in all the frustration that's out there right now.

Because right now, everybody is waiting for that center position to get filled.

We all know the Lakers at some point, they're going to fill their last roster spots.

They've got two roster spots open right now.

Look at things.

My guess is they probably only use the 14th spot.

I think they stay below the tax line if they can.
