The Lakers fall to the Golden State Warriors rough shooting night for the Lakers.

Nothing dropping, but we're going to a lot. We've got a lot to talk about from this one.

Joining me tonight is Donnie Freeman. Donnie. How are you doing?

I'm doing pretty good, man. How about you?

All things considered, I'm doing pretty well, but that's, for a night, I was pretty fired up for

this game, Lakers, Warriors, LeBron and stuff, let's go, this is going to be exciting. It's going to be

a fun game. What a dud. What a dud of a night. The Lakers just couldn't get anything to drop. And we'll talk about kind of what we saw on the offensive end, the defensive end, all of that. But man, the shooting percentages from the Lakers, it took away from being able to really look at this game and get into exactly what they're running

with or not because they could get the ball to go in the basket even when they were getting

decent looks 36% from the field 28% from 3 you're not going to win a lot of games with those

shooting percentages donnie that was that was a frustrating watch for me yeah absolutely it just

felt like pretty much everyone except for Anthony Davis didn't

have it going tonight. I mean, at the end, Dalton looks pretty good, but he started to hit a few

shots pretty late. There was one point where he was one for six or one for seven, and then he

started piling them on towards the end. And he took 13 threes in this game, but largely pretty much nobody else really looked all that great in this game. Rui kind of also got a few points towards the end. But, you know, the interesting part about this game was it started pretty good. I liked it a lot in the beginning. And then towards the end of that first quarter, the Warriors going a little bit of run, a little bit of a run there, excuse me, and then into the second quarter, things were just a little bit weird there. We did also see the debut. I don't know if you wanted to talk about this, but we did say the debut of the nine-man rotation and kind of what that looked a bit like as well. And I had some questions with that. I thought it was kind of weird dalton doesn't play

the first half place pretty much the whole second quarter just a lot of weird stuff in terms of

that but um all all in all i mean ad clearly wanted it lebron was off um forced a lot of passes out there

seemed a bit sloppy definitely was uh definitely coasting and one thing that i wasn't really a huge fan of with

lebron in this game in particular was it felt like and this probably wasn't the case but it felt like

every time down was an isolation post up from him and and everybody else was just standing around

watching i just it just it felt like it was automatic every single time down and then it turned into a bad turnaround fade or step through shot that just wasn't going for him, unfortunately.

So yeah, it just, it wasn't great.
