So we're going to talk a bit tonight about what the Lakers need to do from here, about retooling this roster to make it truly fit around Luca Donchich. When we look at this Lakers team from a conception,

I don't know if you guys can see it, but Studio Stu's tail is getting in the shot down here,

down in the corner. He just wants to make sure that his presence is felt here, even though

he's not fully on camera right now. But when we do look at this Lakers team right now and the way they were put together,

a lot of it was kind of thrown together on the fly right after the Luca trade. And they

didn't expect to be getting Luca don't get it. So there were a lot of pieces that just don't

quite fit the right way. So that's going to be the task for Rob Palakeka this summer is to try

to get all the pieces together that are going to fit and really give them the right way. happy to have you on to talk some lakers basketball here and i i guess you know i was kicking

things off talking a little bit about how the lakers are going to have to build uh summer and how they they didn't really have a team that made sense post-Luca

trade. But it's understandable why they didn't because they didn't know they were going to get

Luca. So now they have to build a team around them. So why don't we start there? What are you,

where are you looking for for the lakers this summer in terms of

how they're going to build out a cohesive lineup around lucca i think it's pretty clear what they need

they they definitely need some big man depth that is huge i'd like to see them go get at least

two like quality bigs and then after that you're going to be looking for some

athleticism two-way players whether it be more at the wing or at guard or preferably if you can

get both that's even better i mean i i know that's probably asking for a lot in one off-season

but i think it's very

similar to what we were looking for with when we had Anthony Davis is more big man

depth, more two-way players. And I think there has also been a need for athleticism to hang out
