Hello, Lakers Nation. Welcome in the Lakersnation.com podcast. I am Trevor Lane. And I'll tell you what, I'm already missing Lakers basketball. That's probably not a good sign. It's only been like a couple of days and I'm already missing Lakers basketball. But we do have a lot to talk about today. We've got to talk a little bit about Darwin. We've got to talk about the situation blaming coaches versus blaming players.

We got to talk about the Lakers roster build for next year, which I know is going to be a big,

big topic of importance for this summer as we see the next iteration of the Lakers built and

really come together, whether it be via the trade market, via the draft, be a free agency.

We'll talk a little bit about that as well. Also need to dive into the mailbag. But, you know, first, let's talk a little bit about building this next Lakers team.

So there are a few different paths for the Lakers to go down.

And I talked about this briefly on a live

shorts video that I did yesterday. But, you know, first and foremost, I want to get into the

cap sheet, what that looks like for the Lakers, some questions that are still hanging over the team,

that sort of thing. But before we get to all of that, I think the big question is, who's coaching the team? And that is very much still up in the air. And I've got a lot of people saying, well, why is Darwin still the coach right now? Why is this move not been? And who knows? By the time I actually published this, maybe Darvin's not the coach anymore, but I would imagine if they're going to make

that move, it's going to happen sometime pretty soon. I don't think the Lakers have to, like, people are looking at it at it. I'm seeing a lot of negativity that, that, oh, they're not, they're just not going to do it. They would have done it already. No, not necessarily. You have to remember, the last time the Lakers moved on from a coach.
