What's up, Laker fans? We have made it after a long, long off season. We are finally here.

It's game night. You're listening to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

So excited to get this started. We've got a pair of games this weekend, and then

the Lakers have a week off, kind of a strange little schedule here in the preseason. And so we get

just a little preview, two-game clip, probably without LeBron, I would guess for both of them,

certainly without him for tonight. But we do have a good portion of the team, Dee, and I'm always curious to see what a team

looks like in the first preseason game. I know it in the grand scheme of things doesn't matter,

but the legendary considered this a warning game where AD made his debut, first time in

form blue and gold, and he puts up like 16 and 8, It was just a nasty stat line in the first quarter against the Warriors.

It was in Golden State.

We were up by like 20, right?

It's a preseason game and all that.

But there was just a certain announcing your presence with authority that I don't think

is a you have to do that in your first preseason game to be a championship caliber
