All right, let's get into this.

I want to start with a quick peek at the current standings.

And what's going on is, well, again, there were some unfortunate results last night. There were some good ones, too. Look, the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Dallas Mavericks. That helped out the Lakers. You can see the Mavs. Now, just half a game ahead of the Lakers in terms of games back. The Lakers, if they can beat the Nix today, will be tied with the Mavs in terms of record. So that did help the Lakers out a little bit. We also saw the Pelicans losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which helped. We'd prefer to see the Pelicans losing games right now. And that happened as well. So those things helped, but some other games did not go the way that the Lakers would have wanted them to, and it certainly

hurt the Clippers getting a win over the Nix. The Lakers will play the Nix today. Second night

to have a back to back for New York, but this is the second time in a row now. The Raptors did the

same thing where the Raptors shot extremely poorly against the Clippers and then had a

bounce back performance against the Lakers.
