Hello, Lakers Nation. Welcome into the Lakers Nation.com podcast. My name's Trevor Lane, and let's get into the mailbag. The Lakers offseason, I've said it before. It is the most fascinating offseason in the NBA. So many different routes that the Lakers can go. So I want to get into a few more of our mailbag questions. That's going to bounce us through a number of different topics. Like should the Lakers go get Janice Ansd-Cupo? How are they going to ultimately build out the roster? What trades should they explore? All kinds of things that we're going to get into here. By the way, we are going to get a live show schedule coming out soon. I am tentatively planning the first live show of the true offseason to be coming up Thursday evening.

So tomorrow night, I was going to do tonight.

I tend to settle into like a Monday night, Wednesday night type of schedule.

But with tonight being OKC, San Antonio, I'm assuming everybody's going to want to watch that

one.

So I'm going to go tomorrow night.

I'm going to shoot for 9 o'clock Pacific time,

do a live show tomorrow night, take questions, comments, all that sort of stuff. It'll be a good time.

So come hang out for that. Eduardo says Braun makes more history of being the first father

son duo to be swept in the postseason. I get that this is kind of like trying to be a shot

at LeBron James, but I mean, come on.

Like, LeBron had his son on the team. And I think, well, we could say in the initial run with

brawny, like when Brony first joined the team, we could say, well, you know, was he really,

you know, good enough to be on the team? I get that. But he was certainly ahead of a number

of guys on the Lakers roster at the conclusion there. So I don't know. The fact that you got swept by

OKC, I'm not going to try to use that to take a shot at LeBron James, even though I know there's

plenty of people who would love to try to do that. No matter how about the bench is, JJ needs to play them, if only to rest the starters. He ran the team into the ground, treating March like the playoffs. Well, that's part of why I think JJ had those comments at the presser that he had with Rob Polenka about, you know, it's not just about his rotation. It's about the depth of the roster. It's about if he has the players, then he's able to play more guys in his rotation. It's about the depth of the roster. It's about if he has the players, then he's

able to play more guys in his rotation. So I am hoping to see the Lakers build up more depth because

JJ's kind of in a no-win situation there, right, where if he plays the bench guys and they

lose. So JJ said, I'm looking at my notes here that I took.

He said depth isn't rotation. It's roster spots 10 through 15. Yeah. And you've got to have

guys that you can actually put into an NBA game and expect to win. Because here's the problem
