Unfortunately, the Lakers season came to a conclusion at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

They lost in game for a spirited effort, though, by the Lakers.

Appreciate it.

They really went down swinging and gave it their all.

Now we look ahead to a very, very busy summer for the Lakers. They're projected to have the second most cap space in the NBA. What are they going to do with that? Are they going to bring back LeBron, Austin Reeves? What does that situation look like? And a whole lot more. There's so much activity that's going to be taking place around the Lakers this summer. Rob Polican, J.J. Redd Redick at a press conference yesterday in which they talked about some

of the things that are going to be changing at the front office level.

A couple of assistant general managers being brought in some restructuring within the

Lakers front office as well.

Plus Dan Wojke and Sam Amick of the athletic had a piece out about some of the behind

the scene stuff and kind of what we can expect from the Lakers moving forward. So that's what I mainly want to focus on here. I did do a live reaction yesterday to the Rob Polika and JJ Redick press conference that you can find, gave a lot of thoughts on what Rob Polick had to say. I will make some thoughts on that into this, but mainly what I want to focus on is what Dan Wojke and Sam Eamick wrote about

some really important details. It's a really phenomenal piece for the athletic. And if you

have a moment, definitely go read it. I am going to use a Twitter post that aggregated some of

the key points, just be easier to go through in a video format like this.

But it is very much worth the read.

So let's take a look at this.

What the Lakers are planning to do here this summer, obviously some very important things here as we get into the NBA draft,

which is coming up in June.

We'll have the free agency period, which is going to kick off technically at the end of

June, but we typically think of it as July and building out next seasons, Los Angeles
