Again, I'm excited to get to talk about all the stuff that we're going to get into today. first and foremost, the first hurdle we have to clear for the Lakers heading into trade season,

which is what December 15th typically is around the NBA.

What happens on that date, you've heard me talk about it on this show before.

That date, December 15th, is the date when most of the players who signed new contracts this past summer

become eligible to be traded. So that is typically seen as the unofficial start to trade season

around the NBA. So with that coming up, will the Lakers make a move or not? Dave McMedeman

of ESPN says, yes, they will. Here's the thing. We had been hearing that the

Lakers were in this kind of evaluation period. And that was frustrating for Lakers fans,

understandably, but that what they wanted to find out was, is this team good enough? Is this

team worth it to trade away future assets or are they simply a loss cause?

Are they so bad? Remember the first few games of the season when they were shooting like 20%

from three like historically bad from behind the arc and they looked terrible. And I kept saying

that's not sustainable. They're going to shoot better. They're going to shoot better. They're going
