Tough loss for L.A. almost battled all the way back. There was a point where it looked like they were going to get the job done, but ultimately just could not close it out in the end.

A lot of reasons why we could talk about that first half.

Disastrous first half for the Lakers.

We could talk about an outlier shooting night from Houston.

No discredit to them.

They shot the hell out of the ball, especially Jalen Green.

We'll talk about the rebounding.

We'll talk about the athletic guard.

The Lakers could use a lot of other things to get into in tonight's game. Lots of stuff to break down. Joining me, it's Matt, the Optimus Peralta. Matt,

I would have preferred to be a win but um I think there were some positives to take away from this game

but I also am just as frustrated as a lot of the other fans out there because this could have easily been a game. The Lakers should have won. Oh, for sure. Yeah, it absolutely could have. And maybe should have been a win when you shoot 44% from three. You always think that you have a good chance to win that kind of game. And only 10 turnovers, despite having some turnover problems early for the Lakersakers. I mean, the margin said this was a winnable game until we go look at what

the Houston Rockets did. But 30 and 13 for Anthony Davis, five blocks, 21, 13 and 9 for LeBron,

21 and 10 for Austin Reeves. You got 14 from Max Christie, 13 for Rui Hachamara, 13 for Dorian Finney Smith.

I thought the Lakers played well enough, particularly in the second half, to walk away with the win, just weren't consistent enough, particularly to start the game.

The consistency just wasn't there.

And the Rockets came out fired up.

They got their butts kicked last game by the Celtics.
