Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Filmroom podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius. Last night,

the Lakers lost to OKC 119 to 110. D, the first time we played OKC. This was the second.

Lakers were down by 30 at halftime. They were barely over 40 points

at halftime as well. Game was over. This was a much more competitive game. OKC without Shea,

Lakers without Luca, but it was a one point game, you know, with five minutes left.

OKC made a real push, I thought, in the second quarter to kind of open things up to a double-digit

lead for them, had a nine-point lead at halftime. And then the Lakers really started that third

quarter wonderfully. They went through LeBron either in the post or at the elbow and really generated

a lot of good shots, ended up swinging the game by 17 points, we're up by

eight. I thought Alex Crusoe came in the game and kicked our butts, which is just the biggest

gut punch every time that ever happens, right? He was so good in that game. And I thought flipped

that third quarter back around for OKC. But it was a good competitive game. Again, D, you know,

down by one with five minutes left. OKC makes a little run. Lakers can't score, at least until they go very small. And so that was one of two things in this game that I thought the Lakers found some answers in terms of how they can score on OKC. Certainly more work to do is evidenced by the loss. And of course, you know, without both superstars that changes the game D. But I thought it was a competitive game that the Lakers made some progress on, but didn't get the win. What were your thoughts from last night? Very good and entertaining game. A frustrating game for me as well. I was pretty irritated at the end of the night. The ref stunk too. That was super frustrating. That was a part of it as well, yeah. I put out a tweet about that, and people responded to my tweet, and that was all just in one quarter. And some of these didn't hurt the Lakers, but just to sort of recount what I said about that, because I don't want to dive into the refs really at all, but I will mention this since you brought it up. There was that

double lane violation that they turned into a jump ball when really that was just a lane
