back from vacation. Happy to be back. We've got a lot to talk about on today's show. We're going to

get into the latest on the Jeremy Grant rumors, what a trade could potentially look like between

the Lakers and the Blazers. perhaps more importantly is it even worth it

I take a look at what Jeremy Grant would actually bring to L.A. Plus we'll talk a bit about

the Olympics, LeBron James, an incredible showing there against Serbia to kick off the U.S.'s

quest for the gold. We'll talk about LeBron, the Olympics, and as LeBron and AD's play there,

give the Lakers a little bit more incentive to go ahead and make a move.

Finally, the Lakers literally one of only three teams in the NBA to have not brought in a

player via trade or free agencies so far this offseason.

I know Lakers fans, you guys are frustrated with that.

I am too, would like to see this team get a deal done.

But let's get into some of the specifics of what's out there right now

and maybe why nothing's gotten done up to this point.

So let's get into it back from vacation.

Let's dive right into the thick of things.

The Jeremy Grant trade rumors.

So there's a few different little pieces of this kind of float around.

There's a Blazers guy who said that there was a trade that was on the table that would

have involved two first round picks going from L.A.

To Portland, of course, that's the most important part for Portland. It's the draft picks that would be going there. We know the Lakers have their 2029 and 2031 first that are available to trade. And then ultimately the Lakers, Rob Palenka, ball. It kind of made it sound like it was a last minute thing. And oh, here goes Rob Polika againca again you know not wanting to pull a trade at

the last minute and all that is that even a deal the Lakers should do it I know I'm sure there's
