A lot on the line in this game and a lot going on around the NBA. When we're looking at the standings, we're looking at playoffs, seatings. There's a lot that's going to be determined tonight. So wanted to do a little extra weekend show here. Come on and break everything down.

out the show all right so taking a quick look at the standings here's how everything sits after

last night's big win over the calves. The Lakers

have now moved up to the eight seed. Now, the Kings, at this time of year, really what we're

looking at is the loss column. That's the important part. So right now, technically the Lakers

and Kings are still tied. They're tied in the lost column. That's not good. That means if the Lakers went out, the Kings went out, the Lakers and Kings are still tied. They're tied in the loss column. That's not good.

That means if the Lakers went out, the Kings went out, the Lakers will be bumped back because

Sacramento has the tiebreaker over the Lakers. Sacramento is in action tonight and we're going to take

a look at who's playing tonight as well. But that's not ideal, right? So we want to see the Kings

start losing some games,

and that way the Lakers can get some clearance there.

You look up at the top of the table here,

and Minnesota is currently half a game back at the Denver Nuggets.

Maybe that's the downside, I guess, of the Lakers winning tonight,

is that it would almost certainly, I mean, long way to go,

but it would give the Denver Nuggets a considerable leg up in terms of claiming the one seed,

which if you're the Lakers and you could wind up in the seven or eight matchup,
