A lot of stuff to talk about as usual, but maybe even more drama than we're accustomed to around the Lakers right now,

given LeBron's recent comments and some rumors on the trade market as well, joining

me is Optimism Prime himself, Matt, the Optimist Peralta.

Matt, how are you doing?

So, Trevor, I've got a saying that the weather oftentimes reflects my mood.

And if you're a Southern California resident, we've been getting a lot of rain recently.

I feel like that's pretty indicative of the sadness and gloom that's going on with the

Lakers franchise right now.

So I just think it's pretty apt, especially for all the stuff that's come out this week.

Well, you are a meme now.

Our editor did a great job on the video you and I recorded yesterday.

If you guys haven't seen this, you have to go check it out. It's at the very beginning of the video that Matt and I did where we talked a little bit about LeBron's comments. We also talked about Austin Reeves' contract. We tried to do this once a week. Have a video where we let our editor really go and just kind of flex his muscles and be able to put in a lot of kind of cool stuff.

And he put in, Matt, what was it you said?

Something about your cold and you're crying?

Yes, it was, the Lakers had played the heat on, what was it, Wednesday.

And I said that I'm still cold and very sad.

And so there's an image of Matt, freezing in the cold and crying that our editor put together.

It's absolutely fantastic.
