Well, they've done it. Somebody had to snap the Spurs losing streak. And the Lakers said,

we can help you out right there, San Antonio. Benching a number of their players heading into the game

due to various injuries, Anthony Davis, Cam Reddish, DeAngel Russell, among many others that did not play,

several others that didn't play in this game for the Lakers.

And, well, we've got a lot to talk about.

The Lakers, not only losing to the Spurs, but actually getting beat fairly handily.

They gave up 42 points in the first quarter to the Spurs,

which means that if you take the fourth quarter of last game against San Antonio,

and the first quarter of this game,

that would mean in two quarters of basketball,

the Lakers gave up 87 points to a team that hadn't won in 18 games.

Yikes.

Then the Spurs kept scoring and scoring and scoring some more.

27 points in the second, 29 in the third, 31 in the fourth.

Sure, the Lakers made it push every now and then, but ultimately, it didn't look like

winning this game really mattered all that much to this team.

129, 115 was the final score.

The Spurs, as they should, they came out desperate to get a win, determined to finally

snap this losing streak, like this was something that was really important for them.

And the Lakers looked very comfortable, very much okay with being that team that the

spurs ultimately snapped their losing streak against. Frustrating night for fans, absolutely.
