But the important thing, the Lakers walk away with the W, thankfully. And on top of that, making it even better.

The Warriors lost tonight.

The Warriors dropped their game to the Indiana Pacers, which now gives the Lakers a little bit more separation.

Now the Lakers up a game and a half on the Warriors in the race between the nine and the 10 seed.

Now two and a half games back behind the Sacramento Kings. Still three games behind the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns realistically, the team that the Lakers need to start dropping some games

if they're going to look to move up into that 7-8 matchup.

But again, I know, I know.

Let me just preface everything we're going to go over on this show here.

I know a lot of you right now are looking at that game saying,

that did not feel great.

And with good reason, there was an ugly game.

It was a sloppy game.

It was a game that looked like March Madness.

It looked like a couple of college teams.

Turning the ball over left and ride, missing free throws, missing lobs.

It was ugly.

But the important thing was it was a W.

It's not a win where you come away feeling great.

It's not a win where you come away saying, yes, see, this is what this team is.

This is what they can be.
